Well, my first Thanksgiving in Berlin was a success! Thanks to new friends, I was invited at the last minute to a vegan Thanksgiving meal. Everyone brought a dish (and vino) so there was plenty to eat.
Not only was it my first Thanksgiving in Berlin, it was my first ever vegan Thanksgiving! The tofurkey was surprisingly tasty and everything else came out great. I especially loved the sweet potato casserole (vegetarian only because some of us insisted on marshmallows!) and the crust less pumpkin pie.
Thanksgiving in Berlin was a success! Mad props to Natalye for putting it all together and introducing a handful of random expats together. It’s a win!

Wow, a vegan Thanksgiving meal! Great to see that it’s perfectly possible!
Not only was it perfectly possible, it was absolutely delicious! I’d definitely do it again. Didn’t even miss the turkey.
NOMNOMNOMNOM! I definitely ate the leftover tofurkey and veggies and stuffing for breakfast today…. Thanks for coming!
Thanks again Natalye… Hope your other Thanksgiving feasts this weekend went well again!
